It helps to say which phone you use and its iOS or Android version, the app version (Settings in the app shows it), and what you did just before the problem.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Lenvid has no sign-up and no login.

Where are my videos?

On your phone. Takes stay inside the app until you export; exported videos are saved to a “Lenvid” album, in Photos on iPhone and in your gallery on Android. Deleting the app deletes the takes kept inside it.

Captions do not start

The first time you make captions, the app downloads a speech model of about 75 MB. Stay on Wi-Fi or mobile data until it finishes. After that, captions work offline.

The AI buttons say they cannot reach the service

Write with AI, Rewrite from reference and Delivery feedback need an internet connection. They also share a daily limit; if it is reached, try again the next day.

How do I stop the app sending data to the AI service?

Open Settings in the app, then AI data sharing, and turn it off. The AI features will ask again before sending anything. Everything else keeps working.

The camera or microphone does not work

On iPhone, open the phone’s Settings, find Lenvid, and allow Camera and Microphone. On Android, open the phone’s Settings, then Apps, Lenvid, Permissions, and allow Camera and Microphone.

How do I update the app?

If you installed Lenvid from the App Store or Google Play, the store updates it; open the store and check for updates there. If you installed the Android file from GitHub, open the app’s own settings screen and use its update button.
